Today, I get to brag on the Knox
Central Panthers, the 2009 season for the Panthers was one we have all looked
forward to. After a trip to the Regional Finals in 2008, this team had a lot to
live up to. After losing 13 great seniors, this team had some holes to fill.
Knox Central started the year with a disappointing loss to a tough Somerset
team. This was the first of four tough losses that this team would face. Knox
Central missed two extra points and several other missed opportunities, cost the
Panthers the season opener 24-22.
